'Extreme Cold' Certification | Assisting two new members of the ‘Fuxing’electric locomotive family in completing low-temperature certification tests; they are serious about it!

In January 2024, both FXN3D 3000 HP hybrid (heavy hybrid) shunting locomotive and FXD3H electric-electric hybrid shunting locomotive which equipped with the entire electric transmission system of CRRC Yongji Motor Company were tested at low temperature in Tahe County, Jiagdaqi City, Heilongjiang Province and Hailar District, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, respectively. The electric transmission system R&D team participated in complete process of the tests, and ensured that all missions of low-temperature tests were accomplished successfully.

Both FXN3D and FXD3H shunting locomotives are new members of next generation of 'Fuxing' series shunting locomotives of China Railway industry, which different them  from other locomotives by their green and low-carbon emission. They are new members of China Railway Group's hybrid locomotives family, possessing differentiated advantages, etc. energy conservation, low emission, low-carbon environmental protection,and so on.

The converter cabinet adopts the integrated design concept of modularisation, simplification, lightweight and high power density, and is equipped with the laminated bus bar and powder painted bus bar developed by the supplier of NORTHBRIDGE, which improves reliability and safety effectively.
