In terms of signal acquisition, NORTHBRIDGE provides RF front ends and acquisition channels from 1 MHz to 40 GHz, as well as a high-performance baseband processing platform, supporting multi-channel high-speed synchronized signal acquisition.


In terms of signal storage, NORTHBRIDGE provides 8TB of storage per disk with a storage speed of up to 40Gbps, capable of meeting real-time storage requirements for multi-channel high-speed signal streams.

In terms of playback analysis, NORTHBRIDGE provides signal analysis software that supports 2D and 3D display of signal spectra, and can quickly filter out the required signals based on signal characteristics.


NORTHBRIDGE has extensive experience in providing customized system development for our global customers. The systems we have delivered are widely used in customer-specified scenarios such as:

2) Radar signal echo recording and playback

3) Satellite navigation signal acquisition, storage, and playback

Taking the RF recording and playback system we customized for a certain customer as an example, here in below is a brief introduction of the system.


System principle:

The RF recording and playback system consists of a host computer, USRP, Full-Duplex Broadband Transceiver and an antenna. During signal acquisition, the system receives wireless electromagnetic signals through USRP, Full-Duplex Broadband Transceiver and antennas, and the signal data is saved to the hard disk through the host computer. During signal playback, the collected signal data is selected by the host computer, and the data is transmitted to the electromagnetic environment through USRP, Full-Duplex Broadband Transceiver and an antenna.

System function:

The main function of the RF recording and playback system is to quickly capture, display and save the signals in the wireless electromagnetic signal environment. The system provides data analytics tools, which can be used for secondary processing and analysis in MATLAB. The collected data can be quickly transmitted to the wireless electromagnetic environment after relevant processing, which is convenient for users to quickly reconstruct the complex wireless electromagnetic environment.

System application:

The RF recording and playback system can help users quickly build a large-bandwidth electromagnetic signal acquisition and system. Modeling and analysis of various electromagnetic environment channels can be used to quickly build interference systems.
