OpenVPX Backplanes
Critical BKP Specification Alert
VITA 65 BKP code governs full backplane interoperability. Matching form factor, slot count and topology cannot ensure electrical compatibility; differing suffixes alter internal channel routing. Provide full target BKP number for quotation to eliminate specification errors.
We offer 3 tiers of 3U/6U OpenVPX backplanes (display sequence: RF Hybrid Custom → Modified Standard → Standard), conforming to VITA 46, VITA 62 and SOSA-aligned specs:
1. RF Hybrid Custom: Low-VSWR blind-mate VITA66 optical / VITA67/SBMA RF channels with reinforced PCB substrates, built for SOSA rear-interconnect RFSoC & ADC/DAC radar systems, interoperable with mainstream VITA67 RF modules and our complete VPX digital product line.
2. Modified Standard: Tuned standard OpenVPX topologies for custom minor project demands, featuring fast delivery and moderate customization expense.
3. Standard OpenVPX: Ready COTS VITA 65-compliant backplanes with Single/Dual Star & Full Mesh topologies, for conventional front-panel RF embedded computing platforms.
All standard VPX slots plug-and-play with our SBC, switch, storage carrier and VPX power supply modules. Full RF simulation data, 3D models and compliance test reports are provided to streamline multi-vendor system validation.
